Helga Martins and Joana Romeiro were distinguished for their outstanding contribution to research with the Rosemary Carroll Johnson Award. The award was presented during the NANDA International Conference.

Their participation in the NANDA International Conference included 3 oral communications and a poster, and a table moderation, which strengthened their continuous investment in research and improvement of health care quality in vulnerable populations.

The participation and scientific work of these fellows of CADOS' Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Integral Human Development reaffirms the importance of scientific evidence in its relation to the common good, breaking down the boundaries of knowledge and physics. Relationships were established with participants from 14 countries.

During the event, Joana Romeiro's and Helga Martins' undeniable contribution to research merited the attribution of the "Rosemary Carroll Johnson Award".

The projects of Helga Martins and Joana Romeiro in the DHI Program have the active mentoring of Professor Sílvia Caldeira, under the seal of CIIS and the Spiritual In Health group. This distinction reinforces the research work towards change in society, for the nursing profession and for the integrality of humanized care, in an undeniable alignment with Integral Human Development.
