The CADOS Post-Doctoral Program met with associations dedicated to supporting migrants in Lisbon.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), which promotes migration in a humane and orderly manner for the benefit of all parties involved; the High Commissioner for Migration/National Support Centre for the Integration of Migrants in Lisbon, and the NIALP Migrant Association - Nepalese Intercultural Association Lisbon Portugal - are now part of the network of institutions linked to the Integral Human Development Programme.
The initiative reinforces the strategic commitment of the DHI Program to develop research projects with high social impact on the most vulnerable populations. Alexandra Pereira, DHI fellow and organizer of the meeting, promotes this network within the scope of her project "Gender discriminations and inequalities faced by Nepalese migrant women in Portugal".
The delegation thanks Dr. Sofia Cruz (IOM Portugal), Dr. Marlene Jordão (responsible for CNAIM) and Dr. Kamal Bhattarai (president of NIALP) for their welcome.
