Integral Human Development

Universidade Católica Portuguesa hereby announces the launching of a Postdoc-Fellowship Program in Integral Human Development, promoted by Porticus.

The Fellowship Scheme invites applications that promote change in the society’s conceptions of development, poverty, and inequality, fostering therein knowledge on the real system-problematic, advising high-policies, measuring concrete impact evidence, and implanting innovative practices. 

We seek junior researchers for a program fully covered by a monthly stipend, with neither restriction regarding academic background nor past research impact or social influence. Candidates must be Portuguese and apply within five years of completing their doctoral studies at a higher education institution. The program has a maximum duration of two years. The chosen candidates will become a part of a global network program that seeks to answer the following questions:

• How does Integral Human Development translate in society, today and in the near future?
   
• What promotes development through peace and hope, common good, openness, while integrating individual and community dimensions?
