He is currently a post-doctoral fellow at UCP (CADOS Program for Integral Human Development). He received a PhD in History with a specialization in Contemporary History from the Faculty of Theology of the Portuguese Catholic University (2023) at PIUDHIST - a partnership between five Portuguese higher education institutes: Institute of Social Sciences and Faculty of Letters (both from the University of Lisbon), ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, Catholic University of Portugal and University of Évora.
He was a PhD fellow at FCT – Foundation for Science and Technology (2019-2023) with the Thesis on social Catholicism and political commitment in Portugal (1965-1976).
He obtained a Master's degree in History of Religions from the Faculty of Theology of the Portuguese Catholic University (2019), where he also completed a Degree in Theology and a Master's degree in Systematic Theology (1985).
He received a scholarship from Instituto Camões, I.P. (2023-2024) in Rome/Vatican City.
