Tiago Abalroado, fellow of the DHI Program and President of the Board of Directors of the UNITATE Foundation, creates the UNITATE Campus, an innovative infrastructure designed to support the entire Social Economy sector in Portugal.

The new complex, with a total area of 45,000 m2, integrates three buildings where the institution intends to install IFES - Training Institute for the Social Economy (created in 2020), a congress center, an "open door" space dedicated to the Social Economy (with a library, exhibition areas and coworking spaces), a social incubator, a social innovation laboratory, social responses school, a social responsibility consulting center and a restaurant area.

The implementation and expansion strategy designed for the UNITATE Campus foresees the involvement and mobilization of the various actors of the social sector and the establishment of key partnerships with all public and private sector entities that want to join the UNITATE Foundation to make this an open space of all and for all.
