Sara Fernandes (Ph.D. University of Lisbon 2022) is a Fellow Researcher in the Postdoctoral Program in Integral Human Development at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, an Associate Researcher at the Centre of Philosophy at Universidade de Lisboa, and a Collaborator of the Rationality and Applied Ethics Laboratory at Universidade de Coimbra. Her current research focuses on the neuroethical impact of poverty on child development. Her main academic interests include the relationship between philosophy and neuroscience, particularly neuroenhancement and its effects on personal identity, human nature, and neuroethical challenges. Additionally, she also works in hermeneutics, philosophy of literature, and political philosophy, with a particular focus on the works of V. Woolf, P. Ricœur, and J. Rawls.
