The EUROPAEUM is pleased to invite applications for our traditional Policy Making
Seminar, to be held in Brussels on 24-26 January, 2022. The Policy Seminar, organized in collaboration with the European Parliamentary Research Service (DG EPRS) is a joint effort to link academic and policy institutions, contributing to a better understanding of the process of preparation and implementation of EU policies. Programme will include talks and discussions with those at the sharp end of policy and decision-making in Brussels.
The2022 edition will aim at identifying and framing some of the key issues and policy areas that are likely to feature prominently on the political agenda of the European Union over the coming year, including the Conference on the Future of Europe; EU crisis management and post-COVID economic recovery, as well as the EU-NATO cooperation in the context of transatlantic relations. More detailed discussion in working groups will be organized with the accent on pluralism of opinions, recommendations and understanding of key policy challenges.
The EUROPAEUM would like to invite to Brussels up to 20 students currently enrolled on master’s or PhD courses at a EUROPAEUM member university. Successful candidates will be provided with accommodation free of charge and will be reimbursed reasonable travel expenses within Europe.
